Google as Big Brother

There are four search engines that matter. One of them is google. Yahoo owned almost everything when they dumped google. Everything was to be under their roof. Yahoo has shown to be on par with googles as they have declined considerably. It all depends on the crawlers these days.

There is no secrets about Google. It was all hype from what everyone believes. It's only whether or not you want to commit a lot of resources towards running a large search engine for a lengthy period of time.

Google, Yahoo and Microsoft. Three of the four search engines that matter. The last one is AskJeeves. It's a mystery how they manage to crawl thousands and thousands of pages but it shows how serious they are as a search engine.

Google is the top dog by far. There is no point in not putting up a suit that isn't advertised by google. It's basically do or die for your site if you are not on google. There is a lot of pressure on google for searching the soul of the web.

There is a struggle for advertising revenue as most of paid ads use keywords or non ad content. Half the screen is dedicated to ads these days. Yahoo and Microsoft is not interested in this approach.

Public Sector web sites seem to be generally ignored. Also a struggle over predominant influence as massive amounts of data comes in at google. Google has yet to declare any rights to the users in terms of privacy and security as the federal government would love to get their hands on googles user data.

Clashes of real forces has led to silence from the feds and google.

Google has an immortal cookie that will never die, they record everything you do on google, retain all the data, google is silent about why, they hire spooks, spyware, illegal cache copy, Google is not your friend and Big privacy risk
